Good Afternoon everyone!! I hope you were able to get through the dreadful Monday and are having a better and brighter Tuesday!

What better way to make Tuesday brighter by taking a look into the past! Throughout my Pinterest travels I have come across some very fun and refreshing flashbacks, so i figured I would share them with you!!

Remember when:

This was my favorite bear when I was younger, I had a giant pink one!

I used to make these all the time, they were so cool back then.

Scented Markers!!! I can smell them now! Loved them!

Supermarket Sweep…I loved this show, some of the things people threw in their cart cracked me up, but very entertaining

Tamagotchi…I had so many of these…they are actually coming back, I saw them in the store and bought my niece one for her birthday…she loved it!

Last but not least, who didn’t feel this way when they saw this in Elementary School:

There were so many more but these were my favorites…What are your favorite childhood memories??

Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissants

Good Morning!!! Yes it is a great morning when you have these amazing Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissants that i discovered on Pinterest for Breakfast!! If anything is better than Strawberries & Cream Cheese it is definitely a quick easy recipe! Yes these Croissants are definitely sweet so you can eat them even for Dessert :-) (or for every meal like me!!)

Here is the Pinterest yummy inspiration:

Here are the Ingredients & Instructions:

Ingredients:

1 package of  Crescent Rolls
1/4 cup of Jam (I used Strawberry)
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg + 1 tsp of water for egg wash

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Cream until there are no lumps.

Unroll each crescent roll. On the fattest part of the triangle place 1 tsp on cream cheese mixture and one tsp of jam. Roll into a croissant shape.

Whisk together egg and water for egg wash and brush over each croissant.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until croissants are golden brown and inside is no longer doughy.

EAT & ENJOY!!! (My Favorite part!!!)

Here is my not so good picture but you get the drift, they are so good and so easy!!

What are you waiting for, pin this or bake this! Either way you won’t be sorry!

With Love until next time!

Cinnamon Sugar is a “Rollin”

First of all, please excuse my cheesy post names…i’m not a pro at this yet hahaha

Second, you should know that I Love all sweets and I am bound to try and make anything into some kind of dessert…I LOVE to bake!!!

That being said, I came across these Resurrection Rolls on Pinterest a while back and fell in love with the story behind them (why they are called Resurrection Rolls) and I thought I can definitely make this into a dessert!

Here are the ingredients and instructions:

Ingredients:
One can of crescent roll dough
8 large marshmallows (or one for each roll you’ll be making)
Melted butter
Cinnamon sugar
Directions:
  • Preheat the oven to the temp that is stated on the crescent rolls
  • Unroll all eight crescent rolls and place them on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  • Take the marshmallows and roll them in the melted butter and then  into the cinnamon sugar
  • Wrap the Marshmallow with the crescent rolls (one marshmallow per crescent roll).
This is where the instructions stopped, but me wanting to make it more of a dessert I rubbed butter all over the roll and rolled it into the cinnamon sugar (You can never have too much cinnamon sugar!!)
  • Bake the rolls for 12min

And the end result was:

As you can assume, the marshmallow “disappeared” leaving only the cinnamon sugar in side with a slight gooey mess, that caramelized inside the roll.

Making it into more of a dessert, we put it in bowls and added some, vanilla ice cream, cool whip and some chocolate sauce…YUM!!!

Don’t forget to check out the meaning behind the original Resurrection Rolls…Especially since Easter is in a couple of months!

Enjoy until next time!

With Love,

Give me an “M”

First off let me just say that i am absolutely Addicted to Pinterest, as I’m sure most of you are! I am so addicted that my husband cringes when i say, “guess where i found this recipe or craft”…he just shakes his head and i very excitedly yell…PINTEREST!!!

During one of my very early pinnings I came across this Monogrammed Family Sign and thought it was beautiful & that I wanted to do something like that for my house.

Well time came and went and next thing i know it is Christmas time and I think, what a perfect gift for my sister-in-law who is getting married this summer! (I was very excited!!)

So I went shopping  to find things that resembled her wedding colors (Damask Black & White with an accent Dark Purple) and this is what i came up with…

I got the frame & letters at AC Moore, the fabric from Joann Fabrics and i went to town and created my take on the Pinterest monogram sign. I painted the letters dark purple and i used fabric instead of tiles for the background, gluing it to the back of the frame, and i used fabric for the flower, using buttons in the center to hold the flower together.

I Love the way it came out and my sister-in-law got teary eyed when she opened her Christmas present. I hope you enjoy it as well!

With Love,
